At the age of 4, Ann’s grandmother taught her to sew and this creative outlet led to a passion for making unusual clothing. This new found skill brought with it much attention and joy. Only many years later did it become a full-time career.
It was evident that Ann was destined for the arts, but a fashion direction was not a clear one. After a career in the music world of opera, with all it’s fantasy, costuming and drama, a particular dream to be part of the fashion world would finally became a reality. After schooling and honing her craft in New York, her aesthetic sense of the stage, combined with a love of travel and the world’s handicrafts, led to a particular view of fashion. Creation through imagination, inspiration from all things handmade and a desire to make women feel beautiful had become Ann’s driving force. She now believes that her life’s greatest gift is the opportunity to be creative and to share this passion with others.
